Q: Will I be able to park close to the shuttle bus loading point?
A. There will be dedicated Blue Badge car parking spaces at venues. Those who require a Blue Badge
parking space will need to book their parking space in advance via the Blue Badge booking platform here.
Q: Your Help Centre states the Cannock site is uneven surface. Is it safe to use given my accessibility needs?
A. We recommend that spectators should make their own risk assessment prior to booking as to the suitability of a site/venue.
Q: Do I need to make a separate booking for transport to get to my seat once parked up inside the venue?
A. No, an accessible transport service will operate between Blue Badge parking and spectator seating where appropriate.
Q: Can I use a mobility scooter on the venue shuttle buses?
A. “Class 2” mobility scooters with 3 or 4 wheels will be accepted on shuttle buses provided they are no more than 600mm wide and 1000mm long, with a turning radius not exceeding 1200mm. The mobility scooter plus user must not exceed 300kg. Class 3 scooters which are larger will not be permitted.
Q: Will my wheelchair be able to fit on the bus?
A. Wheelchairs can be accommodated on all accessible shuttle buses. Please note there is a weight limit of 300kg (wheelchair and user) and they must meet these max dimensions: total length of 1200mm, including extra-long footplates, total width of 700mm.
Q: Can my family/ friends travel with me on the venue shuttle bus?
A. Ticketed companions can use the Accessible shuttles and we will try wherever possible to facilitate groups travelling together on the same vehicle.
Q: Can my assistance dog travel on the shuttle bus?
A. Yes, assistance dogs may travel on the shuttle bus.
Q: I have tickets for multiple events on the same day, is there transport between venues?
A. The Park & Ride and Park & Walk site shuttle buses only serve one specific competition venue. Please refer to the Journey Planner to plan your transport between multiple competition venues.
Q: I’m not sure yet of my plans. Can I book parking closer to the time?
A. You can book parking closer to the time but please be aware that Blue Badge parking at the venue is in limited supply. To guarantee a space, you are advised to book as soon as you know your plans.
Q: I have broken my leg so I can't walk very far, what do I do?
A. If you have a temporary condition which reduces your mobility, please contact the Webchat on the Homepage to check availability of a Blue Badge space.
