Q: I’m on the RPZ list and have applied for my digital permit but haven't heard anything.
A. We're receiving an exceptionally high number of emails and are working through them as quick as we can. Thank you for your patience and please be assured that, if you've applied for a virtual RPZ permit for Radio 2 In The Park, you can assume that this has been approved unless you hear from us.
Stewards working across the weekend will have your car registration details.

A. Yes - vehicles are able to transit but they aren't able to wait, load or park without a permit.
Q: Will people be able to drive in to the zone to pick someone up without staying or parking?
A. A traffic order has been submitted to implement a no waiting or loading area to mitigate audience parking or unofficially picking up within this area.
Q: Do I need to apply for a permit for any deliveries that I am expecting during the closure period?
A. No - provided they're being made by a recognised courier or delivery company with the correct paperwork for your delivery.
Q: Will taxis be permitted to come to my house and collect me or bring me home?
A. Taxis will be permitted to bring you home, however, taxis will need to collect you from your nearest road closure point.
If you have mobility issues and need the taxi to collect you from outside your property, please call the event hotline number number needs to be confirmed over the weekend with the details of the taxi being provided and we'll ensure it is able to reach your property.
Ubers can show the booking on their app to the marshals manning the road closures.
Q: I’m planning a party for a family occasion that weekend. How many permits am I able to apply for? Can they park outside my house?
A. You may apply for up to 2 permits per household for yourselves and visitors over the weekend. They’ll be able to park outside of your house or on your driveway but will need a permit to access your property during the times when the RPZ applies.
Q: We have visitors on Thursday that plan to leave Saturday morning. Will they need a permit even if they have already parked within the residential protection zone?
A. Vehicles already within the RPZ will not require a permit. If those vehicles leave and wish to re-enter during a time when the RPZ is enforced, they'll require a permit to re-enter.
